CV Campus OS — Terms of Service
Effective date: September 26, 2026
CV Campus OS ("the Platform") is software for campus ministries, provided by Clear Vision Design and Marketing LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Clear Vision," "we," "us"). These Terms cover anyone who signs in at app.cvcampusos.com.
1. Who these Terms cover
- Campus accounts. A campus ministry ("Campus") that we set up on the Platform. The person who signs the agreement for the Campus is responsible for it.
- Users. Anyone the Campus invites to sign in: directors, staff, student leaders, volunteers.
If you use the Platform for a Campus, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
2. What we provide
A hosted system for managing contacts, follow-up, events, giving, and reporting. We run and maintain the software. The Campus decides what goes in it and who is in it.
The Platform runs on third-party services, including HighLevel for the core system, Stripe or another processor for payments, and Cloudflare for reporting tools. Their availability affects ours.
3. Your account
- Keep your password private. Don't share a login.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else got in: [email protected].
- Campus leaders decide who has access. Remove people when they leave.
4. What the Campus is responsible for
The Campus is the one that knows its people and answers to them. The Campus is responsible for:
- Having permission to contact people. Text and email consent is the Campus's to collect and keep. The consent language a Campus uses must name the Campus's own legal organization, not Clear Vision.
- Honoring opt-outs. When someone replies STOP or unsubscribes, the Campus must stop sending. Do not re-enroll people who opted out.
- Accuracy. The information in the Platform, and what the Campus tells people about how it uses it.
- Following the law that applies to its messages, fundraising, and records, including telecom and messaging rules and its own state's charitable-solicitation rules.
- Its own privacy notice to the people it collects information from.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Platform to:
- send messages to people who haven't agreed to receive them;
- harass, threaten, or deceive anyone;
- store or send anything unlawful;
- try to break, probe, or overload the Platform or get around its limits;
- upload malware;
- resell or sublicense access without our written agreement.
We can suspend an account that puts other users, the Platform, or our messaging providers at risk. When we can, we'll tell you first.
6. Giving and payments
Gifts made through the Platform are processed by a third-party payment processor. We don't store full card numbers. Gifts go to the Campus, not to Clear Vision. Refunds, disputes, receipts, and tax treatment are between the donor and the Campus. The processor's own terms apply to payments.
7. Your content and your data
The Campus and its users own what they put in the Platform. You give us permission to host, process, and display it only as needed to run the Platform for you. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your contact lists to market to those people ourselves. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Our software
We own the Platform, its design, and its branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive right to use it while your account is active. You don't get the right to copy it, resell it, or build a competing product from it.
9. Fees
Fees, if any, are set in the agreement between the Campus and Clear Vision.
10. Availability
We work to keep the Platform running, but we don't promise it will never be down or slow. We may update or change features. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that would seriously affect you.
11. Ending your account
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On request, we'll help a Campus export its data for 30 days after the account ends, then delete it, except where we must keep records by law.
12. Disclaimers and limits
The Platform is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the Campus paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll notify Campus administrators. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Greene County, Missouri.
