SMS Terms

Effective date: October 1, 2026

CV Campus OS is software that campus ministries use to keep in touch with their students, donors, and volunteers. This page explains how text messages sent through it work. It applies to text messages sent through the Platform by a campus ministry (the "Campus").

1. Who sends the texts

Every text is sent by the Campus you gave your number to, under that Campus's own name. Clear Vision Design and Marketing LLC provides the software. Through the Platform, it does not send texts to you or collect your consent. The Campus's name appears at the start of its messages, and its own privacy notice and terms apply to them.

2. What the messages are about

Depending on what you signed up for, a Campus may text you event details and reminders, ticket and registration confirmations, gathering and small group information, schedule changes, gift receipts and thank-yous, and ministry updates.

3. How you opt in

You opt in by checking the text-message consent box, and giving your mobile number, on a form run by the Campus. The box is never pre-checked. Consent is not required to take part in the ministry, attend an event, or give. You can say no and still do all of those. Consent is also not a condition of any purchase or gift.

4. How often

Message frequency varies with the Campus's calendar and what you signed up for. Each Campus states its own expected frequency where you consent, and the confirmation text you receive repeats it.

5. What it costs

Message and data rates may apply. The Campus does not charge for texts, and neither do we. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

6. How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that Campus. You will get one confirmation, and nothing more after that. Reply START to sign up again. Opting out of texts from one Campus does not affect your other messages from that Campus, such as email, unless you ask.

7. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or contact the Campus that texted you. Its contact information is in its message and on its website. For a problem with the software itself, write to [email protected].

8. Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.

9. Your information

We do not sell your mobile number or your opt-in information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that deliver messages for the Campus, such as the messaging platform, may handle your number only to deliver those messages. See our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, and the Campus's own privacy notice.

10. Changes

We may update this page. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Each Campus's consent wording and its own SMS terms control for the messages that Campus sends.
